Bhubaneswar, March 1 -- Iran has entered an unprecedented political transition following the killing of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in a joint US-Israeli airstrike on Tehran. In the immediate aftermath of the strike, senior cleric Ayatollah Alireza Arafi has been reportedly named as part of an interim leadership arrangement, marking a critical moment in the country's modern history.
While reports suggest Arafi as the interim Supreme Leader, there has been no official confirmation in this regard.
