Bhubaneswar, March 22 -- In a major boost to India's maritime strength, the Indian Navy is all set to induct its newest stealth warship, INS Taragiri, on April 3, 2026, at Visakhapatnam. The commissioning ceremony will be attended by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, marking another significant step in strengthening the country's naval capabilities and self-reliance in defence production.
INS Taragiri is the fourth stealth frigate under the Project 17A programme and represents a new generation of advanced warships built with cutting-edge technology.
