Bhubaneswar, April 6 -- Indian Railways is accelerating efforts to modernise its train coaches with a strong focus on enhancing passenger comfort, hygiene, and safety. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Sunday highlighted a series of new initiatives, including redesigned coaches and improved onboard facilities, as part of a broader transformation drive across the railway network.

According to the minister, new coach designs and upgraded toilet models have been developed to significantly improve the travel experience.
