Bhubaneswar, Aug. 14 -- Railway Board has approved seven new Amrit Bharat Express trains to strengthen rail connectivity across several parts of the country. Designed as an affordable alternative for lower and lower-middle-income passengers, the services will connect major cities and regional centres across multiple states.

While the newly approved services cover routes across northern, central, western and southern India, several Amrit Bharat Express trains already running through Odisha provide links to major destinations outside the state.
