Bhubaneswar, May 29 -- The Centre is considering involving the defence forces to manage logistics and transportation for the NEET-UG 2026 re-test scheduled for June 21, following the cancellation of the original examination over an alleged question paper leak.

Top sources in the Ministry of Defence said a high-level meeting was recently held at the residence of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. The meeting was attended by Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and officers from the Indian Air Force (IAF).
