IMFA launches 'E-Shikshya Express' to bring computer and AI education to rural students in Odisha
Bhubaneswar, Oct. 9 -- With computer education still out of reach for many rural communities in Odisha, Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys Ltd (IMFA), through its corporate social responsibility (CSR) arm, the Bansidhar & Ila Panda Foundation (BIPF), has launched 'E-Shikshya Express' at its Therubali plant to expand access to digital learning in rural areas.
The mobile education initiative will travel across villages and provide students with access to computer education, internet usage and artificial intelligence (AI). It aims to address gaps in digital learning and reduce the need for students to travel long distances to access such facilities.
