Bhubaneswar, April 21 -- In a major anti-encroachment drive, all illegal constructions built over nearly 100 acres of land at Shyampur on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar have been completely demolished by the Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA).

The operation, which continued for four days, concluded on Tuesday with authorities razing all unauthorised structures to the ground. Following the eviction, the entire stretch of land has been demarcated, and official government signboards have been installed to prevent further encroachment.
