Bhubaneswar, Oct. 24 -- In a major breakthrough ahead of Diwali, the Delhi Police Special Cell has foiled a terror plot by arresting two suspected ISIS operatives who were allegedly preparing to execute blasts at a crowded South Delhi mall and a nearby public park.
Officials revealed that both accused, identified as Adnan from Delhi's Sadiq Nagar and another Adnan from Bhopal, were apprehended in a coordinated operation between the two cities. The arrests, made on October 16, averted what could have been a devastating strike during the festive season.
