Bhubaneswar, Feb. 25 -- In a significant move to strengthen India's digital public infrastructure, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has constituted a high-level committee to harmonize and modernize the regulatory framework governing DigiLocker. The panel will undertake a comprehensive legislative review of the existing Digital Locker Rules to align them with the evolving technological and legal landscape.

Chaired by former MeitY Secretary Ajay Sawhney, the committee comprises legal experts, technology specialists, and industry representatives, reflecting a multi-stakeholder approach.
