Bhubaneswar, June 8 -- A luxury sports car, Porsche, mounted a divider after meeting with an accident near Krushak Bazar on the Mangalaghat Bypass in Puri, Odisha on Sunday morning. The driver escaped with minor injuries, while a pedestrian who reportedly came in front of the vehicle was unharmed.

The sports car was travelling from Bhubaneswar towards Puri when the accident took place.

According to sources, a person suddenly came onto the road near Krushak Bazar while the car was passing through the area. In an attempt to avoid hitting the pedestrian, the driver applied the brakes.

The vehicle was reportedly moving at speed and lost control during the manoeuvre. It swerved and climbed onto the road divider before coming to a halt.
