Bhubaneswar, April 5 -- A heritage run was organised in Bhubaneswar on Sunday to mark the fifth day of the Odia Paksha celebrations, to promote the state's rich cultural legacy. The event was conducted by the OdishaSports and Youth Services Department.

The initiative sought to highlight Odisha's prominent heritage sites and create awareness among the younger generation about the state's glorious history through an engaging public activity.

The run began near the Mukteshwar Temple, a noted heritage site in the city. Participants then moved along a designated route covering Rameshwar Temple, Vivekananda Marg, Utkal Kanika Galleria Mall, Lewis Road, BJB College, and Ravi Talkies Square.
