Heavy rain to continue in Odisha till September 1, IMD issues alerts
Bhubaneswar, Aug. 27 -- Rainfall activity is likely to continue across Odisha as the state is expected to witness heavy rain until September 1, according to the Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC) in Bhubaneswar. The weather office issued alerts for several districts as rainfall intensity is expected to increase over the coming days.
Very heavy rainfall is likely in three northern Odisha districts such as Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and Balasore today. The Meteorological Centre issued alerts for these districts in view of the expected weather conditions.
