Bhubaneswar, April 25 -- Heatwave conditions continue to intensify across Odisha, with several districts in the western region recording extreme temperatures and severe discomfort. The situation worsened steadily, with hot and dry winds affecting both interior and coastal areas.
Jharsuguda emerged as the hottest place in the state on Friday, recording a maximum temperature of 44.8 degrees Celsius. Titlagarh recorded 44 degrees Celsius, while Sambalpur registered 43.6 degrees Celsius. Districts including Bolangir and Sundargarh are also witnessing intense heat, contributing to rising concerns over public health and daily activities.
