Bhubaneswar, Nov. 6 -- A cricket fan's determination to meet his favourite player turned into an emotional encounter after Hardik Pandya reportedly promised to help him secure a home.

Ravi Kumar Rawat, a fan from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, travelled nearly 2,400 kilometres on foot to meet the Indian all-rounder.

According to reports, Ravi initially walked around 1,400 kilometres to Mumbai. However, upon learning that Pandya was in Bengaluru, he continued his journey for another 990 kilometres.
