Bhubaneswar, May 9 -- The inventory and verification of ornaments stored in the Ratna Bhandar of Puri Jagannath Temple will resume on May 11 and 12, Chief Administrator of the temple administration Arabinda Padhee announced on Saturday.

The counting and verification process will be carried out over two days after it was temporarily suspended due to the ongoing Chandan Yatra rituals.

Temple authorities said the exercise had been put on hold to ensure smooth conduct of the annual festivities, which draw large numbers of devotees to the temple town.
