Bhubaneswar, March 18 -- A significant change in weather conditions has been observed across Odisha, bringing relief from the recent heatwave. Several parts of the state have been experiencing rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms, gusty winds, and occasional hailstorms.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), such weather conditions are likely to continue for the next five days. For Wednesday, a yellow warning has been issued for districts including Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, and Kandhamal.

The IMD has forecast thunderstorms with lightning and wind speeds reaching 30-40 kmph in some areas of these districts. Residents have been advised to remain cautious during adverse weather conditions.
