Bhubaneswar, May 12 -- Nitin Nabin is scheduled to visit Odisha on May 18 for the first time after assuming charge as the National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party. The one-day visit is expected to focus on strengthening the party organisation at the grassroots level through a district-level training programme to be held at the party's state headquarters.

According to party leaders, the programme has been organised with the aim of enhancing organisational capacity and improving the efficiency of party workers functioning at district, block and state levels. Special emphasis is also expected to be placed on panchayat-level organisational training and coordination.
