Bhubaneswar, March 1 -- The Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) conducted a comprehensive review of India's aviation preparedness in view of the emerging situation in the Middle East and its potential impact on international air operations.
Union Civil Aviation Minister chaired a high-level meeting via video conference with senior officials of the Ministry, the Airports Authority of India (AAI), the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), airline operators, and major airport authorities across the country. The review focused on ensuring passenger safety, maintaining operational continuity, and strengthening real-time coordination amid multiple airspace restrictions and Notices to Airmen (NOTAMs) issued in parts of the region.
