Bhubaneswar, Feb. 10 -- Gold jewellery worth more than Rs 20 lakh was stolen after burglars broke through a wall of a jewellery shop late last night in Balasore district. The theft took place at a jewellery store located at Fata Arjun Chhak under Soro police limits, sources said on Tuesday.

According to the official sources, the shop owner, Rajendra Sahu, had closed the shop and left for home at night. When he returned the next morning, he found a hole in the wall of the shop. The miscreants had entered through the opening and decamped with all the gold ornaments kept inside.
