Bhubaneswar, June 6 -- A 23-year-old college student from Mapusa in Goa died by suicide days after a video of him allegedly throwing garbage on a roadside went viral on social media.

The student, identified as Samuel de Braganca, had recently completed his second year of graduation. He lived with his mother and two sisters. According to reports, a video showing him littering on a road in North Goa spread widely online and drew strong reactions from social media users.
