Bhubaneswar, May 14 -- Bus services across Odisha have been severely affected due to the ongoing fuel crisis, with nearly 2,000 private buses reportedly going off the roads across the state. According to the Private Bus Owners' Association, around 14,000 private buses operate in Odisha, but services have been disrupted in several districts because of the non-availability of fuel at petrol pumps.

As a result, bus movement to many rural and interior areas has come to a halt, causing inconvenience to daily commuters and passengers.
