Bhubaneswar, Sept. 3 -- The threat of a third wave of flooding in the Subarnarekha River has raised concern in Bhograi block of Balasore district after a sluice gate near the Ausa embankment developed cracks under intense pressure from floodwater.

According to sources, the damaged sluice gate is located near the Ausa embankment bridge. Floodwater has reportedly started entering the embankment through the crack, raising concerns over the safety of the structure and nearby areas.
