Four families ostracised for failing to pay compensation demand in Odisha's Ganjam
Bhubaneswar, June 13 -- In a disturbing incident from Ganjam district, four families have allegedly been socially boycotted by villagers and confined to their homes after they refused to comply with the village committee's decision. Worse, villagers have reportedly even blocked their access road by erecting a fence, cutting off movement, and leaving the families confined inside their home for three days.
The inhumane incident has been reported from Samantarapalli village under the Kabisuryanagar police station limits.
