Flight services to Mumbai from Jharsuguda airport suspended; Kolkata, Bengaluru trimmed
Bhubaneswar, July 1 -- Air travellers from western Odisha are likely to face inconvenience after IndiGo suspended its daily Jharsuguda-Mumbai flight and reduced the frequency of services to Kolkata and Bengaluru, affecting connectivity from the Veer Surendra Sai (VSS) Airport in Jharsuguda.
The Mumbai flight will remain suspended till October, while flights to Kolkata and Bengaluru, which were operating throughout the week, will now run only four days a week instead of seven. The reduction is expected to impact passengers travelling for business, education, healthcare and other purposes.
