Bhubaneswar, April 1 -- The digital census process commenced across Odisha on Wednesday, marking the beginning of a nationwide exercise being conducted after a gap of 14 years. For the first time, the census is being carried out in a digital format.
The process in the state was formally launched from the Raj Bhavan, with the Governor Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati initiating the self-enumeration phase. The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) Mayor Sulochana Das also took part in the initial stage, followed by enumeration activities in other parts of the city.
