Fake B.Ed. certificate scam busted in Odisha's Jharsuguda; 2 arrested, larger network exposed
Bhubaneswar, April 27 -- In a shocking development, a fake B.Ed. certificate scam has been uncovered in Odisha's Jharsuguda on Monday, where candidates were duped by fraudulent operators promising certificates from Andhra Pradesh's Acharya Nagarjuna University.
According to reports, over 300 aspirants allegedly lodged complaints regarding this at the Jharsuguda police station. Complaints have also come from places like Brajarajnagar, Laikera, Belpahad, and Lakhanpur. The scam involved an office set up under the name 'One World Academy' in Burla, where candidates were lured with the promise of securing their B.Ed. certificates for a hefty fee.
