India, Aug. 24 -- Odisha Vigilance officials conducted simultaneous searches at six locations linked to Bhanja Kishore Behera, a former Special Revenue Assistant (SRA) of Tirtol block on Monday. The search operation was launched in connection with an alleged misappropriation of government funds worth more than Rs 3 crore.

According to Odisha Vigilance, the searches were being conducted at six locations associated with Behera at the time of reporting.

These include a double-storeyed residential building of around 7,000 sq ft at Patenigaon under Raghunathpur police station, a tent house measuring around 4,000 sq ft at the same village and another double-storeyed building measuring around 3,000 sq ft at Patenigaon.
