Ex-Badminton star Jwala Gutta donated 60 litres of breast milk after childbirth, internet praises her reason
Bhubaneswar, May 16 -- Former Indian badminton star Jwala Gutta is being widely praised for a thoughtful gesture she made during the first year after childbirth. The athlete revealed that she donated nearly 60 litres of breast milk to government hospitals in Chennai and Hyderabad to help newborns admitted to NICUs.
Breast milk is considered the most important source of nutrition for infants, especially during the first few months of life. Rich in proteins, minerals, healthy fats, carbohydrates, and antibodies, it plays a key role in a baby's growth and immunity.
