Bhubaneswar, June 22 -- Odisha's Jajpur city continues to face a long-standing bus stand problem. Even after 33 years since the district was formed, the town still does not have a modern bus terminal due to which thousands of passengers continue to depend on the old bus stand located in the heart of the city.

Although several proposals have been made repeatedly for a new bus stand, the project has allegedly been delayed due to frequent changes in proposed locations, preventing the construction of a modern bus terminal.

In the absence of a proper terminal, the old bus stand in the city continues to handle all operations. However, due to alleged poor maintenance, the facility has deteriorated significantly.
