Bhubaneswar, Sept. 3 -- East Coast Railway (ECoR) has announced the extension of special train services between Khurda Road in Odisha and Patna Junction in Bihar.

As per ECoR, the extension announcement was made following popular demand from passengers.

Moreover, a huge rush is witnessed during this period, which includes festivals like Dussehra, Diwali and Chhath Puja. Hence, keeping in view passengers' convenience, the railway has extended the train services on the route.

Train No. 03230, operating from Patna Junction to Khurda Road, will continue to run weekly on Thursdays. The service, which was earlier notified up to August 27, 2026, has now been extended from September 3 to November 26, 2026.
