Bhubaneswar, June 20 -- In a major breakthrough in the Tofan Bindhani murder case, Rourkela Police on Saturday conducted a double encounter near Jhirpani and injured two of the main accused allegedly involved in the broad daylight killing. The injured accused have been identified as Chunu and Sushant. Both sustained bullet injuries to their legs during the operation and were later admitted to Rourkela Government Hospital for treatment.

According to sources, police tracked the movement of the accused and launched a special operation in the Jhirpani area in the early hours of Saturday.
