Bhubaneswar, Oct. 21 -- A possible cyclonic system is being closely watched over the Bay of Bengal, with some foreign weather agencies predicting that it could move towards the Odisha and Andhra Pradesh coasts.

However, a cyclone has not yet been forecast, and its possible path and intensity remain uncertain.

An upper-air cyclonic circulation is currently active over the southwest Bay of Bengal near the north Tamil Nadu coast.

According to the source report, the system may develop into a low-pressure area around October 23.
