Bhubaneswar, Oct. 31 -- Several villages in Odisha's Ganjam district continue to remain surrounded by floodwaters, leaving residents stranded. Many villages in Chhatrapur and Khallikote blocks are still facing inundation, even as water levels have started receding in some areas.

While the situation has improved in a few villages, floodwater continues to remain inside several houses, adding to the difficulties faced by residents.

Floodwaters have not completely receded from several parts of the three blocks. Although some villages have witnessed a drop in water levels, many houses remain inundated. Residents in the affected areas continue to face difficulties as floodwater persists in their localities.
