India, Oct. 6 -- The Odisha Home Department on Monday extended the temporary suspension of internet services in Cuttack City for another 24 hours, citing apprehensions of potential misuse by anti-social elements to spread misinformation and disturb public peace.

As per the official notification (No. 41832/CP&M), the order will remain in effect from 7 PM on October 6 to 7 PM on October 7, 2025, covering key areas under the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC), Cuttack Development Authority (CDA), and 42 Mauza regions.
