Bhubaneswar, July 7 -- A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan died after allegedly consuming pesticide at his residence in Nuasahi, located in the Baliguda area of Odisha's Kandhamal district, on Tuesday. The deceased has been identified as Ashok Kumar Behera. He was reportedly posted in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir.

According to reports, concerns were raised when Behera did not respond to the calls of his friends. After trying to contact him several times, his friends then informed the local police about the matter.
