Bhubaneswar, July 3 -- Legal proceedings have moved forward in a case alleging misuse of public funds on helicopter travel by former IAS officer V.K Pandian during the previous BJD government. A court in Khordha has summoned former Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and Pandian.

The Khordha District and Sessions Court has directed Patnaik and Pandian to file their replies by July 15. The court has also asked for records related to the helicopter services and the expenditure incurred from the state treasury.
