India, Oct. 8 -- A morning journey turned tragic for a couple in Odisha's Nuapada district on Thursday after a truck allegedly hit their motorcycle, killing both of them.

The accident reportedly took place near Badamaheswar on the Nuapada-Khariar stretch of National Highway 353.

Reportedly, the man and his wife were travelling on a motorcycle from the Khariar side when the truck, coming from the Nuapada direction, allegedly rammed into their bike, killing both.
