Bhubaneswar, Feb. 11 -- A woman from Kumbharpada area in Sambalpur has alleged medical negligence at the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH), claiming that surgical gauze was left inside her abdomen during a caesarean delivery performed in September last year.

According to her complaint, she delivered a baby boy through a C-section at the government hospital on September 24. However, she reportedly began experiencing severe and persistent abdominal pain soon after the surgery, which continued for nearly two months.
