Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari on Monday informed that the flood situation in Odisha is currently under control.

The Minister further revealed that water levels in various rivers are expected to recede further. Evacuation of people from affected areas is underway. The government has directed the district administrations to assess the damage. Compensation will be provided for losses once the water recedes.
