Bhubaneswar, Sept. 1 -- The Commissionerate Police's Special Crime Unit on Tuesday conducted raids at shops in Odisha's Bhubaneswar's Kalpana and Laxmisagar areas following allegations of ganja, gutkha and pan masala being sold there. Shops located near educational institutions were particularly targeted during the crackdown.

The raids followed complaints about the sale of these substances through local shops. Police teams checked the establishments and searched the premises as part of the action. The focus was also on shops operating in areas frequented by students.
