Bhubaneswar, Dec. 12 -- Odisha continues to reel under severe cold conditions, with a widespread cold wave gripping the state and pushing temperatures sharply downward in multiple regions. According to the Meteorological Centre, dry weather is expected to prevail across the state till December 17, even as several districts recorded their lowest temperatures of the season.

Jharsuguda and Sundargarh in north interior Odisha, Koraput and Nabarangpur in southern Odisha, and Mayurbhanj in northern Odisha reported a notable decline in temperature over the past 24 hours.
