Bhubaneswar, June 26 -- The Choudwar Circle Jail escape case took a fresh turn, with Rajya Sabha MP Sujit Kumar levelling serious allegations against Director General (DG) of Prisons Sushanta Kumar Nath and Choudwar Circle Jail Superintendent Sujit Kumar Roul.

The MP accused the two officials of facilitating the jailbreak and attempting to suppress the truth.

Sujit Kumar also alleged that the officials forged signatures and tampered with official documents following the escape. The Rajya Sabha MP submitted a written online complaint to Choudwar Police Station seeking action in the matter, claiming misuse of official positions.
