Bhubaneswar, March 11 -- A district-level health team visited Gurujhuli village under Mohana block in Odisha's Gajapati district after several residents were reportedly affected by chickenpox in recent days.

The visit was conducted to assess the ground situation and provide medical guidance to villagers following reports that men, women and children had been infected with the viral illness.

According to sources, multiple cases of chickenpox were reported from Gurujhuli village over the past few days. Following the reports, a three-member team from the district administration visited the village on Tuesday to review the situation.
