Bhubaneswar, March 31 -- The Centre has issued a fresh gazette notification permitting the supply of Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO) through the Public Distribution System (PDS) in 21 states and Union Territories, citing global energy disruptions triggered by ongoing geopolitical tensions.
The decision is intended as a temporary measure to support household cooking and lighting needs, particularly in regions that had earlier phased out kerosene under normal supply conditions.
