Bhubaneswar, Nov. 3 -- A central team is visiting Ganjam and Gajapati districts to inspect and assess the damage caused by Cyclone Arnab and subsequent floods in Odisha. The assessment will help the state government seek the required assistance from the Centre, said BJP state president Manmohan Samal on Tuesday.

An eight-member team led by Ravi Shankar arrived in Bhubaneswar on Monday. It is scheduled to meet the state government's disaster management team before splitting into two groups for visits to the two districts, which reported the maximum damage. The respective district collectors will coordinate the field visits.
