Bhubaneswar, Aug. 26 -- A newly renovated market complex at Buxi Bazaar in Cuttack, Odisha has remained unused for nearly two years, with the shop units yet to be allotted to traders. The food court and market complex, built by the Cuttack Development Authority (CDA), now lie in a state of neglect, with garbage piling up, liquor bottles strewn around and parts of the premises being used as a parking space.

The complex was renovated to accommodate local traders and street vendors, but the delay in allotment has left the facility largely vacant. Locals allege that the lack of regular monitoring has also turned the premises into a hangout for anti-social elements, particularly during the night.
