Bhubaneswar, June 2 -- The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Tuesday has witnessed a major administrative shake-up, with the transfer of its Chairman and Secretary and the initiation of a formal inquiry into the procurement of On-Screen Marking (OSM) services. The developments come amid heightened scrutiny over the acquisition process related to the digital evaluation system used by the board.

According to an Office Memorandum issued by the Cabinet Secretariat on June 2, 2026 (Tuesday), a one-member committee has been constituted to inquire into matters relating to the procurement of services for the On-Screen Marking System by CBSE.
