Car swept away in Odisha floods! Two rescued from submerged road in Jajpur
Bhubaneswar, Aug. 25 -- A car carrying two people was swept off a flood-submerged road near Tarbha in Kayangola, Jajpur, after the driver failed to realise that the stretch was under Baitarani floodwater.
As per reports, the two occupants were later rescued safely by fire services personnel with the help of local villagers.
The incident occurred after floodwater from the Baitarani River submerged the road near Tarbha. The car was travelling along the stretch when it suddenly slipped off the road and was pulled down by the strong water current.
Two people were inside the vehicle when it got trapped in the floodwater which triggered panic in the area.
