Bhubaneswar, Oct. 11 -- Three individuals had a narrow escape after their car caught fire while they were inside the vehicle early on Saturday morning. The incident occurred within the premises of a private hospital at Lamptaput in Odisha's Koraput district. According to reports, the blaze broke out shortly after the occupants switched on the car's heater to beat the night chill.
As per reports, the vehicle belonged to Tankadhar Macha of Nandapur area. He had brought his ailing wife to the medical centre on Friday. Early in the morning, as the weather turned slightly cold, Tankadhar, his brother, and the driver switched on the heater inside the car to rest.
