Bhubaneswar, Sept. 6 -- Four people travelling in a car were seriously injured after the vehicle collided with an auto-rickshaw and subsequently crashed into a divider near Dhamnagar Chhak on National Highway 16 in Odisha's Bhadrak on Sunday. The injured were rushed to the Bhadrak District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) for treatment.

The accident reportedly occurred when the car was travelling from Bhubaneswar towards Udala.

According to reports, an auto-rickshaw allegedly overtook the car, following which the car driver lost control while attempting to avoid the vehicle. The car then hit the divider as it was travelling at considerable speed.
